Camp Ignite Mentorship Program 2016

August 11 to August 14, 2016 – Female students between the ages of 16-18 will be given an introduction to the exciting and challenging career of being a firefighter.  Girls will be introduced to firefighting skills as well as participate in team building activities. Veazey Scholarship Foundation

Saturday, April 30, 2016Space is limited, so apply early!  Deadline to apply is April 15, 2016.  See your counsellor or Mrs. Alberti in the Career Center for application packages (or the link below).  For students in grades 10, 11 and 12.  This 6 ½ hour program will show students how a soldier in the Army Reserve is trained and what they do when they are working for the Canadian Armed Forces.  Students will be given the opportunity to be given basic instruction in marching, weapons, individual kit, rappelling, communication systems, basic field skills, chemical defence, engineering displays and technical trades.  Get a closer look at education and job opportunities offered by some of the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland Army Reserve units.   soldierforaday2016.pdf
