Career Night for Fine Arts, Culture & Design

Held at Churchill Secondary (7055 Heather St, Auditorium – entrance off Heather) – Wed, Oct 21, 2015 – 6pm – 7pm – This free event will focus on “creative” careers.  Visit the info tables of post-secondary programs offered by Emily Carr, SFU, Douglas, Langara and Kwantlen.  Then at 7pm professionals in film, dance, music, theatre, marketing, administration, and business will speak about their careers and how they got there.

Grade 11 BC Post Secondary Morning at Van Tech

This event will be held Tues., October 27, 2015 – 8:30am until 10:45am. Your counsellor will be coming into classes to explain about this event and how to sign up.  It is mandatory that all grade 11 students attend.  Choose two 35 minute post secondary sessions followed by a mini fair.  The following will be coming to Van Tech:  BCIT, Capilano U., Corpus Christi College, Douglas College, Fairleigh Dickinson U., Justice Institute of BC, Kwantlen U., Langara College, Nicola Valley Institute of Technology, Quest U., Royal Military College, Simon Fraser University, Trinity Western U., U. of the Fraser Valley, U. of Northern BC, U. of Victoria, Vancouver Community College, and Vancouver Island U.  This event will allow you to connect with representatives and have all of your questions answered!

Volunteer – Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon and 10K
